Obstruction-Free First-Person is a simple mod for GTA V that enhances the first-person experience by removing hats, glasses, and other accessories that might obstruct the player’s line of sight. This ensures a clearer and more immersive view when playing in first-person mode.
Rockstar designed first-person filters for the main protagonists, including Michael, Trevor, and Franklin, as well as for online characters such as mp_m_freemode_01 and mp_f_freemode_01. These filters prevent accessories from interfering with the player’s perspective.
However, Rockstar did not implement similar filters for non-protagonist NPC models. As a result, accessories worn by NPCs can obstruct the player’s view in first-person mode, which can spoil the overall experience. This mod addresses that issue, offering a seamless first-person perspective across all characters.
Features:
> Removes hats, glasses, and other accessories in first-person mode for NPC models (non-protagonists).
> Restores accessories when switching back to third-person view.
Installation:
> Extract all files from the rar archive to the scripts folder in your game directory.
> If the scripts folder doesn’t exist, create it.
