By submitting mods, guides, articles, or media, you contribute to a platform that highlights quality content and enhances the Grand Theft Auto experience. We are dedicated to fostering a creative and supportive environment for modders and content creators to share their work with the community.
To maintain high standards, we have established submission policies that ensure all contributions follow our guidelines and provide value to users. Please review the following rules before submitting your work to ensure a smooth approval process:
1. Mods and Items Submission Policy
Whether you’re creating vehicles, custom maps, scripts, or other gameplay modifications, we welcome your contributions. However, to ensure consistency and quality across our platform, please follow these guidelines:
Submission Requirements
- File Format: Mods must be uploaded to Google Drive as a ZIP, RAR, or 7z archive containing all the necessary files. Make sure the archive includes clear installation instructions in a
readme.txt
orreadme.md
file. - Compatibility: State which version of the game your mod is compatible with (e.g., GTA V 1.61). Mods should be tested and confirmed to work as described.
- Mod Description: Provide a detailed and accurate description of your mod, highlighting its functionality, features, and any installation instructions.
- Media Thumbnail: Include a high-quality screenshot (JPG/PNG) to showcase your mod, and the image size should be less than 200 KB.
- Media Video: Videos demonstrating the mod’s features are optional but recommended. To attach a video, simply upload your videos to YouTube, copy the video link, and insert in the YouTube video URL input field.
- Ownership & Permissions: Ensure all content in your mod is either created by you or used with permission from the original creator. You must credit any third-party assets used in your work.
- Updates & Versioning: If you update your mod, include version history and changelogs to inform users about what has changed or been improved.
Prohibited Content
- Mods containing illegal content, pirated assets, or violating Rockstar’s EULA will be rejected.
- Mods that include offensive, harmful, or inappropriate material are strictly prohibited.

Submission Requirements
- Clarity: Write clearly and concisely, ensuring instructions are easy to follow.
- Content Accuracy: Ensure the information in your guide is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to the version of the game or mod you’re discussing.
- Formatting: Guides should be formatted properly, avoiding walls of text. Use paragraphs, bold text, and italics to emphasize key instructions or warnings.
- Citing Sources: If referencing another creator’s mod, guide, or content, be sure to provide proper credit and, if possible, a link to their work.

5. General Rules and Moderation
All submissions—whether mods, guides, articles, or media—must adhere to our general community guidelines:
- Respectful Behavior: All content must be respectful of others. Discriminatory or hateful content will not be tolerated.
- No Spam: Do not submit spammy, irrelevant, or promotional content that does not provide value to the community.
- Proper Licensing: You are responsible for ensuring that any assets, tools, or content used in your submissions are licensed or approved for use. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of content will result in removal and possible suspension of your account.
Review Process
All submissions are subject to review by the GTA Modify moderation team. We aim to review all submissions within 48 hours to 7 days, but during busy periods, it may take up to 14 days. If your submission is rejected, you will receive an email with feedback on what needs to be improved. If your mod hasn’t been approved, or you haven’t received an email after 14 days, it means your submission was hard rejected. In that case, try submitting again, ensuring your mod meets all submission guidelines.
6. Changes
We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
